There are many places to snorkel in the Amed area, not just the Japanese Wreck, which is known for its soft coral. Other areas that are great for snorkeling include Jemeluk Bay and Vienna Beach and the area off Bunutan Beach. The main advantage of snorkeling in Amed is that in a space of about 8-10km of driving you can see so many different aspects of coral, both soft and hard, and the variety of fish is incredible. Generally the visibility is better in the morning and during the drier part of the year. The currents are variable depending on the tides and phases of the moon, though if you are not sure ask a local and they will advise if you should venture out too far. It is highly recomend that a visit to Amed is a must if you are into snorkeling.

Good Tour ! The resort is in a great spot with lovely views over the water. Sitting in a beautiful pool only a stone throw away from the ocean whilst glassy barrels are breaking right in front of you. The 2 infinity pools were lovely, they had fantastic day beds to lay on around the pool and you could get food and drink served by the pool. We spent a lot of time around the pool. We ate at the restaurant onsite the 1 night. The food was great and there was live music. Only criticism I have is that the band made us feel very uncomfortable coming straight out asking for a tip. Check out was smooth and easy and they took our bags down to the boat for us. All we had to do was walk down to the boat. All the staff were lovely and friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Just the place you need to relax with a very reasonable price. A great resort and we would stay here again.<

Wonderful tour, loved the guide and driver. Very knowledgable, friendly, accommodating. Gave me a great flavor of the diversity of the island regions as well as a good primer in the history, religious practices, culture, agriculture, villages, temples, arts, etc. I was in Bali for business and had one day of free time, so this was the perfect overview. Thanks for a great experience!
